The French and Indian War or Seven Years War (jan 1, 1754 – jan 1, 1763)

Social and Political:This war was fought over he control of land in North America, between France and Britain. Specifically, it began over disputes surrounding the Ohio Territory. It lasted from 1754-1763. The Native ended up joining the French in the war. It all ended with the Treaty Of Paris, which stated that France would give its land west of the Mississippi to Britain.
