7 Years' War/French and Indian War (may 17, 1756 – feb 15, 1763)
Description:
The French and Indian War was the North American conflict in a larger imperial war between Great Britain and France known as the Seven Years' War. The French and Indian War was fought solely in the Americas through the actions of colonists, ultimately ending with the 7 Years' War following the Treaty of Paris in 1763.
Per the terms of the treaty, France was forced to relinquish their land in the Americas, mainly west of the Mississippi River.
