Old english is called for anglo saxon too which means England in latin. It the oldest form of english and was spoken in england, southern and eastern Scotland. Sounds more like russian and duchess and it is not similar to nowadays English. English is called west Germanic dialect.Around year 450 new invaders arrive in the Celtic England which their language that they spoke was similar to modern Germanic dutch.
“Beowulf”is an old english epic story that consist 3,182 alliterative lines. In old english history "beowulf" may be one of the oldest surviving long stories and is commonly cited as one of the most important written stories of the old english literature. the story was published between dated between 8th-11th century by an anonymous author Anglo-saxon poet. beowulf is the name of the monster in the story that is set in scandinavia. Beowulf was the hero who fights monsters and dragons to survive and bring safety to his own and other people.
In 2007 published a film about beowulf and his story.
