Description:
The American Revolution was a time when the British colonists in America rebelled against the rule of Great Britain. There were many battles fought and the colonies gained their freedom and became the independent country of the United States.Contributions to Classical Liberalism:
Once they were independent from the British, they formed a democracy with the previous ideas adapted from the Enlightenment. They found their own individual rights and freedoms, and had private property and economic freedom.
