Unlike the Romans, the Jews did not worship many gods. They only believed that there God was the only god. Some Romans thought the Jews insulted Rome's gods by not praying to them. They still did not try to stop Judaism in the empire. First, they allowed the Jews to keep their religion then they created political conflict.
