War of 1812 (jun 18, 1812 – feb 18, 1815)
Description:
A war fought between Britain and the US over Britain’s trade restrictions being violated. These naval battles resulted in a lot of boats and equipment to be lost in the bottom of the ocean. The war was concluded with the Treaty of Ghent nearing the end of 1815, as both the British and Americans realized there was no gain for either of them to continue the war, thus ending in a stalemate.
