Once it ended, it lead to an age of progress in America. After American markets connect back up to Europe the farming and product markets flourished and allowed tons of growth. Without it we wouldn't have expanded our factories and technology as fast without the huge boost in money. It also sprouted tons of patriotism after winning the war and during.
