Clashes with the Jews (jul 3, 63 – oct 11, 153)
Description:
Rome was a land that was very open to the thought of many gods, this led them to believe that Jews were disrespecting them by not worshiping all the gods they did. In the early 100s Romans became very harsh toward Jews, disrespecting, taxing heavily, and treating the horribly were some of the ways they did this. In 135 an emperor named Hadrian destroyed the Jewish city of Jerusalem to crush their revolts.
