Description:
Freud was a psychologist. He proposed his theory that humans have and id, ego, and super-ego. He tried to tap into the unconscious through dream analysis, and he defined the oedipus complex. Freud founded psychoanalysis. Many artists were influenced by his work because they wanted to represent their unconscious or depict sexual desire.
