Born in Brescia in 1500, Giovanni Paoli (also referred to as Juan Pablos) trained at the same school as Aldus Manutius and opened a printing house in Mexico in 1539 as requested by Juan Cromberger. This became the first print shop in the Americas.Added to timeline:
