1996: Sam Jack McGlasson donates 4.93 acres of land, including the mammoth remains dig site, to the City of Waco and 100 additional acres of land around the dig site to Baylor. McGlasson hoped to promote economic development of Waco through such an act. (jan 1, 1996 – dec 31, 1996)
