Social organizations (feb 3, 1950 – jun 24, 1980)
Description:
Social organizations had a heavy impact on the Beat Generation, but even more on the Yippie era. As the Yippies were one big social organization, who had a big impact on the nature of America and the future generations as kids were born into that sort of environment. The young would drop out of their education, the ones a bit older would stop working, they went against law and order in a sense, and all that because of their community with others like themselves.
