Liberation of Guam (jul 21, 1944 – aug 10, 1944)
Description:
On July 21st, US forces started their attack to liberate Japanese forces from the island of Guam. Prior to WW2 Guam was US territory in Mariana Islands. Guam was taken from the US by Japanese forces in 1941.
