French Directory (oct 5, 1795 – nov 9, 1799)
Description:
After years of unorganized governance a new government was formed, the directory. It had two houses and a one year term director. The directory faced many external threats and always meet them head on. Under the directory Napoleon lead many successful campaigns around Europe, and a failed one in Egypt.Added to timeline:
