Description:
Liberation of Paris was a military battle that took place during World War two in France. This battle was initiated by the allies and was fought until the German Garrison surrendered the French Capital. The Allied captured and liberated Paris. The liberation began when the French Forces of the Interior staged an uprising against the German garrison when the US Third Army arrived. Paris was also made the capital of the re-established French Republic.
