Andrew Jackson was born to a poor family in a log cabin in South Carolina his father died before he was born and his mother passed away when he was fourteen Andrew had very little schooling but he learned how to read something many adults on the frontier couldn't do in his day (jan 1, 1767 – jan 1, 1845)
