Description:
- Cubismo y Futurismo- Film d´Art: con Marcel L´Herbier, guiones de Delluc y más tarde con las películas de Abel Gance y Jean Epstein, empiezan a fundar la especificidad del cine por medio del montaje, el ritmo, la música y la poesía en la teoría y prácticas formativas.
- Absolute Films, Cine Puro o filmes abstractos: Eggeling, Richter, Ruttman, Leger, entre otros, crean la geometría y arbitrariedad del significante.
- Del Formativismo poético al Formativismo teórico: máximos exponentes: Rudolph Arnheim y Bela Balázs.
