Description:
The Prince is sometimes claimed as one of the first work of the philosophy, especially modern philosophy, saying that the effective truth is taken to be more important than an abstract ideal. It was also a conflict with the dominant Catholic and scholastic doctrines of the time concerning politics and ethics.
