Christopher Columbus's discoveries of new lands (oct 12, 1492 – nov 12, 1492)
Description:
On October 12, 1492 sailors from a ship called Pinta sighted lands. Columbus was only granted three ships on his first voyage, Pinta, Santa Maria, and the Nina. On his first voyage he traveled west and found an island called the Bahamas. Columbus found the new land on October 12, 1492. He found many places throughout his life like South America, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Navidad, and etc..His contribution to this world is that if it wasn't for him then there wouldn't be us here now.
