French and Indian War (may 28, 1754 – feb 10, 1763)
Description:
May 28, 1754 - February 10, 1763. The war started over a dispute of who owned the Ohio River Valley between the French and British, and while France had Native Indian allies and won the first battles, Britain won the war. The war made Britain have a lot of debt and gave the colonists a sense of the American identity.
