Known as the "father of the nuclear age". he didn't agree with Thomson. His thoughts were that atoms consisted mostly of empty space with just a few electrons, while most of the mass was in the center of the atom. He called this mass the nucleus. (jan 1, 1905 – may 31, 1908)
