Plymouth Colony (sep 1, 1620 – jun 19, 1686)
Description:
In 1620, a group of pilgrims sailed to present day southern Massachusetts in order to found a religious colony. According to them, they are seeking free practice of religion. But, in reality, there was no religious freedom.
When Plymouth was made, the British were getting ready to decapitate a king.
Group of people that are coming to the United States were not conforming well in Britain.
“You’re a religion we don’t like? Here’s an island for you”.
