Operation of Barbarossa (jun 22, 1941 – dec 5, 1941)
Description:
Hitler launched his massive invasion on the soviet union. At this point the the Nazi army was the best there was, however, the Germans had severely underestimated their opponent and the Russian Winter. Needless to say, the Germans conducted a slow retreat as the operation had failed.
