30 Years War (apr 9, 1618 – nov 4, 1648)
Description:
The 30 Years War was originally started back in 1618 when the Catholic Church tried to impose their religion onto everyone across the Holy Roman Empire, and when the Protestants revolted, war broke out. This war was very significant, because once the war was settled in the Peace of Westphalia, which totally threw off the power balance between the European countries, but because of that the Roman Emporer was at a loss for power, so it was more of a win/lose situation.
