John Calvin's Geneva (nov 13, 1541 – apr 25, 1549)
Description:
Calvin's success in Geneva enabled the city to become a vibrant center for Protestantism. Missionaries were trained there and sent out. by the mid- 16th Calvinism had replaced Lutheranism and Geneva stood as the fortress of the Reformation.
