Description:
The Council of Trent was a meeting of Catholic church officials regarding the protestant reformation. They rejected Martin Luther's 95 theses and issued doctrines reaffirming the Catholic belief system. The importance of this is that the Catholics rejected other beliefs, leading to centuries of conflict.
