Baldassare Castiglione (nov 16, 1478 – may 16, 1529)

Description:

He was an Italian courtier, diplomat, and writer best known for his dialogue Il libro del cortegiano ( The Book of the Courtier). This book was hugely influential in dictating the way that noblemen and women were expected to act. He falls under the category of OS because through his book he sparked more interest in what requirements one needs to be a courtier, as well as making a large impact on the nobility throughout Europe.
