English Civil War (nov 21, 1642 – jul 21, 1651)
Description:
The English Civil War affected Europe because it got rid of the English monarchy for a period of time, and put Parliament in charge. This conflict was over whether the power of England should lie in the hands of one (the monarch), or a group (Parliament).
