Description:
As Louis XIII was to young to rule, Richelieu took over and wanted to consolidate royal power and improve international relations. He restrained the power of the nobility which worked for only a short amount of time to consolidate royal power without an uprising. Soon after, the Frondes would start. Few people like richeliue and his policies and Louis XIII worked to undo richelieu's work once he was the monarch.Added to timeline:
