Council of Trent (dec 24, 1545 – dec 24, 1563)
Description:
The Council of Trent was brought together with the intention of reforming the Catholic Church by clarifying Catholic teachings and addressing the abusements at churches. This assembly of Catholics acted as a Counter Reformation to the Protestants movements but did not completely agree on a compromise. This is grouped as OS because the council met to discuss the formations of differing opinions in institutions.
