Thirty Years' War (nov 28, 1618 – jul 4, 1648)
Description:
The Thirty Years' War was the last major war of the Protestant Reformation and was mainly fought in the Holy Roman Empire. During the first two phases, Bohemian and Danish, the conflict was local and religous between the Protestants and the Catholic King Ferdiand II. In the last two phases, Swedish and French, the conflict became more political and most of Europe was involve in it because they were trying to mantain the balance of power.
