Baldassare Castiglione (feb 28, 1478 – apr 14, 1529)
Description:
Baldassare Castiglione was an Italian writer who was best known for his dialogue Il libro del cortegiano (1528; The Book of the Courtier). The book was written to show what proper principles of the courtier should have, and eventually led to change in how the government presented themselves.
