John Calvin's Geneva (jul 30, 1541 – oct 21, 1548)
Description:
A city-state that became known as Protestant Rome. It was founded by John Calvin, a French theologian who founded Calvinism. Calvin dictated all of Geneva's actions over the state's religious government. It was a political establishment, or a city-state (SP).
