John Calvin’s Geneva (feb 16, 1541 – apr 30, 1549)
Description:
This introduced Europe to a different and more popular offshoot of protestant faith: Calvinism. This religion was the one that really created the problems in the church because it spread quickly and created problems for Catholic dominated governments. These Calvinist had a strong sense of community and stood together against any monarch that would try to get them to change their beliefs.
