Description:
Castilglione was an author, courtier, and diplomat who is known most famously for writing the "Book of Courtier" during the Italian Renaissance. This book presented many ideas supporting the growth of Italian humanism and the ideal courtier, which ultimately spread to other European countries such as France and England. Castilglione is placed in the OS grouping because he contributed to intellectual change on humanism, which opposed common differing opinions.Added to timeline:
