Pico della Mirandola (jan 10, 1463 – sep 10, 1494)
Description:
The author of On the Dignity of Man which said that man was made in God’s image. He also believed that man is between monsters and the angels in the hierarchical chain. Mirandola was a firm believer that man can accomplish anything they desire. This is true to the humanistic views in that time period. He was put on trial for heresy but became a huge influence for future humanists to say what they believe in and form their own ideas.Added to timeline:
