Petrach (jun 21, 1304 – oct 9, 1374)
Description:
Petrarch is considered the father of humanism. He is considered this because he emphasized human thought rather than material views. He was one of the very first humanists and h was credited with helping start the renaissance in Europe. This fits into the category of Individual and society because it was his poems that led people to start seeing different on the classes of society. This also led to tensions because it showed people how big the classes were divided and how they were not thinking for themselves.
