Petrarch (dec 16, 1304 – may 10, 1374)
Petrarch is known to be the Father of Humanism for his scholarly ideas and poetry during the Renaissance in Italy. He believed that the recovery and observation of classical works could bring a new age of intellectual achievement. He is in the OS category because of his unique ideas and love and appreciation for poetry and humanism.
