Description:

In this period, the mayans were able to grow some cities which estimated to be 40 cities. Discoveries had found unearthed plazas, palaces, temples and pyramids, as well as courts for playing the ball games that were ritually and politically significant to Maya culture. The Classic Maya built many of their temples and palaces in a stepped pyramid shape, decorating them with elaborate reliefs and inscriptions which makes them to be the great artists of Mesoamerica guided by their religious rituals. The mayans were able to find out about the advanced mathematics and about the calendar which is 365 days per year.
