Machiavelli, The Prince (jul 15, 1532 – jul 15, 1532)
Description:
The Prince is a 16th-century political treatise by the Italian diplomat and political theorist Niccolò Machiavelli. Machiavelli desperately wanted to return to politics, so he wrote about political reality rather than theory. One of his goals in writing The Prince was to win the favor of Lorenzo de' Medici, then-governor of Florence.
