Description:

- They wore their garments by wrapping, draping, and pinning long, rectangular pieces of fabric.
- Both wore garments called a Chiton, it two fabric rectangles joined at the shoulders an held in place by a jeweled pin.
- Sometimes a himation would be worn as a cloak.
- They wore light clothes as the climate got hot.
- Women clothing was to their ankles while men wore their robe to the knees.
- Footwear was not used very often and Greeks mostly walked barefoot.
- Fabrics were dyed by natural plants
- Women and slaves were the one that made clothing in Ancient Greece.
