Description:

Francesco Petrarca, aka Petrarch, was an Italan scholar and poet during the Renaissance and is recorded as one of the earliest humanists/ the founder of Humanism, being that his rediscovery of Cicero's letters is noted as starting the 14th-century Renaissance.
