The Enlightenment (aug 26, 1769 – aug 26, 1785)
Description:
One of the most significant Enlightenment thinkers was John Locke, he was also a philosopher. The Enlightenment was also known as the Age of Reason, it was a philosophical movement that primarily took place in Europe, but it later spread to North America. Enlightenment thinkers believed in "natural rights" and that everybody had the right to life, liberty, and property.
