Nicolaus Copernicus (feb 19, 1473 – may 21, 1543)
Description:
He is known for creating the Heliocentrism which is a theory that states that everything in the solar system revolves around the sun which is at the center instead of the Earth. He is often called the father of modern astronomy and the theory also says that Earth tilts on an axis and has 24 hours in one rotation. His death was caused by his belief that the Earth revolves around the sun.Added to timeline:
