Neighborhood (mar 16, 2010 – nov 5, 2010)
Description:
During this time period, I began to visit my friends houses, but noticed how their houses were in less convenient areas than mine in terms of our school location. I lived easy walking distance from my school, but my other friends would have to drive up to an hour depending on traffic to get to school. The house size of my friends were relatively similar, maybe a little smaller, but the main factor was the convenience factor. In terms of race, I think all our neighbors were similar as they were diverse and not predictable.
Despite becoming aware of the differences in my friends houses and neighborhoods, I was still unbothered it and it didn't affect my relations with my friends. However, as I grew older, I began to hang out more with friends in closer proximity of my house as it was more convenient and easy. Additionally, I noticed that the different neighborhoods people lived in did dictate the kinds of people they started to hang out with.
