Battle of Stalingrad (sep 10, 1942 – feb 2, 1943)
Description:
Germany attacks the key city in Russia, Stalingrad. Stalin ordered his troops to hold the city so his reinforcements could come in and trap the German troops. This put Germany on defensive for the remainder of the war.
