Council of Trent (apr 21, 1545 – may 23, 1563)
Description:
The Council of Trent was the council for the Roman Catholic Church that was prompted by the Reformation. It was an important part of the Counter-Reformation. Its role was to revitalize the Roman Catholic Church in many parts of Europe. It is significant because becasue it helped the Catholic Church succseed in many of things they were trying to restor.
