Description:
This mass extinction is considered the worst in all history because around 96% of species were lost.The Earth warmed, and the oceans became acidic. Life today descended from the 4% of surviving species. Climate warmed throughout the Permian times, and, by the end of the period, hot and dry conditions were so extensive that they caused a crisis in Permian marine and terrestrial life.
