John Calvin's Geneva (mar 28, 1538 – feb 26, 1541)
Description:
During this 3 year time span, John had set up a ministry and in 1541, the city council of Geneva accepted John's new church constitution, apart of his branch of Protestantism, also called the Ecclesiastical Ordinances. With this acceptance a new church government was created that used both clergy and laymen, making Geneva the primary center of Protestantism. Having there not only be a switch in official or public religion in Geneva, but the state itself now embodying Protestantism, morphing its previous identity, connects it the AP theme (NI).
