Indian Negotiations (jun 1, 1789 – jan 1, 1792)
Description:
When the U.S. Constitution was adopted , the United States government were discussing following the legal view that Native American tribes should be considered nations. After some time and negotiations, the tribes and American officials signed treaties with one another. George Washington was the main enforcers on envisioning the treaties with the Native American nations as binding on both sides.
